THOMAS BRUCE Thomas Bruce was the stage name used by author Tom Jones when he appeared as the Old Actor in the original Sullivan Street production of The Fantasticks. Since this marks his first acting appearance on the New York stage since December of 1960, he decided to resume his theatrical nom de plume.
